hi everyone
I JUST SIGNED UP TONIGHT. I'VE WANTED A RAMPSIDESINCE I SAW MY FIRST ONE
BACK WHEN I WAS IN JUNIOR HIGH. A LOCAL APPLIANCE DEALER HAD ONE.
MANY DECADES , A MARRIAGE AND 3 KIDS LATER I BECAME AN EMPTY NESTER
AND BOUGHT ONE IN JANUARY. I WAS SHIPPED FROM KANSAS TO THIS AREA
BY A TRUCKING COMPANY. WHEN IT ARRIVED HERE A MOVING STRAP WAS HOLDING THE
RAMP CLOSED. THE TRUCKER HAD TIED THE TRUCK DOWN SO HARD THAT THE REAR RIGHT
QUARTER PANEL WAS PULLED DOWN AND FORWARD. NO THE RAMP NEITHER CLOSES
COMPLETELY NOR WILL IT GO DOWN
BECUSE THE REAR PANEL WAS ALSO PUSHED FORWARD AND IS JAMMED AGAINST THE RAMP.
A HIGH SCHOOL FRIEND OWNS AN UP-TO-DATE BODY SHOP
AND SAYS IT WILL NEED TO GO ON A FRAME STRAIGHTENER PLUS. COST WILL
BE AROUND 3K TO FIX. MY QUESTION IS HOW EASY WILL IT BE TO FINDTHE PILLAR
THAT I ASSUME GOES FROM THE ROCKER PANEL UP SO THE RAMP CLOSES ON
IT. IT'S THE LEFT OR REAR PART OF THE RAMP AND I CAN SEE SOME BONDO WAS
ON IT. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE PARTS LIKE THIS ARE STILL AVAILABLE
THAT WON'T COST ME ANOTHER 3K?
