[FC] Early heater boxes

Well, I got the blower housing out of the Greenbrier, along with the 
fiberglass duct.  As predicted, the duct was mostly blocked off by the 
disintegrating insulation (source of the legendary "Burst O' Fuzz" 
option :-).  To my dismay, I found the blower housing had rust holes in 
it.  So my question is, are the early car and FC housings the same?  Or 
do I need an FC specific one?  They look rather similar in the manual, 
but I can't tell for sure.  Thanks.
