sometimes when stud is broken flush i get them out by cutting a slot in it
with a dremel to fit a good size screwdriver. then i heat it as hot as i can and
cool it suddenly by dipping in water then heating it red again and unscrewing
it with screw driver. if i get real brave i have just blown most of a stud
out of the hole with cutting torch and picked the rest out with a small chisel.
then of course running a tap. my best save so far was a block with a broken
stud in a blind hole(upper head stud first one on the dist side) i just
quickly blew it out with torch. it did not hurt the block and holds god tourqe just
fine..boy was i happy to save that WB block! (64 fc 110pg)
