[FC] broken tap syndrome

well i was able to burn the broken tap out of thew 65 van  4 spd transmision! 
it took about an hour of carefull work, cleaning tips a few times and going 
sunblind because you need to be able to see real close in , but it is out and 
good new threads. so you can burn them but it takes a ton of real patience and 
slow going. i worked from both ends to the middle..found that you heat the 
tranny less doing that. pictures on request...before/after. regards, tim colson
