if i had to do it for repair i would cut it out using a air muffler
chisel..it doesnt cut to deep...and leave about a 2 inch lip. then it is glued in a few
places to the cross braces but pops off ok most of time. then use that new
type adhesive from SEM to put the new on on after hitting the lip on the van and
the inner edge of the replacement one with 60 grit disk or even 30 grit.
after it sets up then run a bead of good caulk(silicone) around the whole thing
trying not to plug the drains in the gutter. we discussed this yesterday at a
local club meeting..one of the guys runs a body shop about 75 miles from here.
he says that sem stuff is the only way to go when replacing panels now.
