I have a pair of 65 corvair coupe bucket seats in my 63 corvan. They had been cut down, on the underside, in the area over the wheels by a previous van owner. Work out quite well. Bought them for $50 for the pair and spent $90 on a set of seat covers from JC Whitney. Norm
