[FC] door handle & mechanism differences. std vs deluxe.

the difference is in the length of the shaft that the handle fits onto to
accommodate the additional space required for the door panel padded trim.

  My ramp has the deluxe padded trim on the front doors. The right door
handle
  fell off and I see the splines in the handle and in the internal mechanism
  are badly worn. I see clarks used parts catalog lists these, but indicates
  the handle and the mechanism are different between deluxe and std version
  vehicles.  Can someone explain the differences.  If I can't find a deluxe
  one, can a std handle and mechanism be modified to work?.
