i hope to make a wooden "module" to put in my van for a portable ham radio 
staion easy to use and hook up to antennas etc. it would not "butcher" up the 
van but be great for field operations. i did not see any other hams at the 
nationals.  the only thing i did to the rampy was put a hole in the roof for a 
motorola 1/4 wave short antenna. my new wiring harness will include the power take 
offs and heavy power feed from engine. i run a 140 amp delco alternator. it 
does nicely for ham radio and refridgerator when traveling.i have pictures from 
a few years ago when i had a cap on the truck and a ham station including ham 
tv at a field day site in june.
