[FC] need generator help...corvair sort-of

Why not convert it to 12 volts?  The starter is the same; in fact it works 
much better on 12 volts.  All you need is a battery and bulbs.  I have a 
super C that I converted about 10 years ago.  I used a Ford alternator and 
regulator from a 71 Ford Falcon that I got for free.
