[FC] FC Rear Axle Bearing

forgot to mention that after cleaning and examining that you need to repack
the bearings with high temperature wheel bearing grease and reassemble.  It is
a time consuming and dirty job, but worth it if you are going to own a
Corvair.  It is also a good time to do the rear brakes, since you will have
them apart also..... Paul

  There are only one bearing to a side....... to know if they are bad, you
  should first remove the axle and clean and examine the bearing.  Many
times,
  you can get extra life out of them just by doing some preventative

  cleaning and inspection.   If you don't have one, you should.  It will give
  you the answers and knowledge that you will need to own a Corvair.  A
picture
  is worth a thousand words and that one book is worth its weight in gold
when
