Hi Bill and all
If you are looking for somewhere to mount front speakers this is what I
did in my Greenbrier. I made a console to put the radio and speakers
in. Plus I have room for gauges, cup holders and a storage area to put
all the stuff you didn't carry around in the '60's like c.d.'s and cell
phones. Passenger side unscrews to get to the wires. You do lose the
middle seating area but it is a van. I have 2 6 1/2" in the console
and 2 6 X 9's in the back corners on the van. The amp is under the
rear seat. I brought the power wire for the amp through one of the
bolt holes that held the cover for the transmission and blower section.
I only had to drill two holes in the van to hold amp down. Amp is for
the rear speakers only. All wires are under the carpet and side
panels. Would be easy to go back to a stock van. No holes in the
doors. My Rampside radio is in the factory spot and made boxes that l
put behind the seat.
Have fun.
