I am looking for a good first car for my son who is getting his license in a few weeks. If anybody has a line on a decent car that meets my needs, I would love to hear about it.</div>

My only requirements are that it has to have 4 doors (or insurance calls it a sports car), that it is cheap, and that it passes inspection.</div>

I don't want to turn him loose with the Corvair until he drives something I won't be heartbroken if he puts a dent in it first. Plus my Vair only has 2 doors.</div>
