get, but keep in mind you can always go to Coker tire and get 6.50 13 tires
(non-radial, bias ply tires), as the Corvair was originally equipped. None
of the radial tires available today appear to be exactly the same size as

Smaller tires will give slightly better acceleration, larger tires will give
better highway/cruising speed (lower RPMs), in either case deviating from the
6.50 13s will give you speedometer error but, after 40+ years it is probably not
all that accurate anyway.</FONT></DIV>

corners like it is on rails, but it is harder to steer (though it also looks
wicked too!). In my case the increased steering effort is probably
due to the quick steering arms. </FONT></DIV>
