I just got off the phone with Kevin, and he gave me permission to send out an update. He had the stroke on Monday; it came on gradually as he was driving home from seeing a client, but by the time he got into his driveway it had progressed to the point where he collapsed getting out of his car. Fortunately, his cell phone was within reach and he could dial 911. The ambulance took him to Jordan Hospital which consulted with neurologists at Mass. General, and they determined he was a good candidate for the clot-busting drug TPA, and he was still within the 3-hour window when it can be administered. He still has some paralysis on his right side but the docs are hopeful he'll make a full recovery within 2-3 months. He may be discharged in the next couple of days.  He won't be able to drive for 2-3 months but is setting up things to work from home. At this point he's using a walker but already started physical therapy.  He's very tired and wiped out,
naturally, but sounds in good spirits and grateful for the timely medical help.

So send out your prayers and best wishes for his complete recovery before spring, and let's consider this one more thing we all have to be grateful for on Thanksgiving!
