BSCC- Convention Concours help still needed

Not true Karl. I registered for each non Vair convention I have been to. You
do not have to enter a car at all. As a matter of fact a lot of CORSA
members will go without a car if it is far from their area but just want to
attend. If you don't register you cannot participate in the other non
Corvair events such as the banquet, picnic etc. As a reminder the board
meeting is Tuesday and the actual convention starts Wednesday. They did this
so the board memebrs would not miss the events on the first day.  

So register! I did Friday.

Hi Jason,

 

The only CORSA convention I've attended was in 1991 in Washington, DC, and I
was just there to look at the cars and only saw part of it.

 

I will not have a Corvair at the convention this year, and am going with my
family mainly to look at the cars again. I haven't figured out what help I
can be to the convention and how it will impact my wife and kids when I do.
For this reason, I have hesitated to commit to any of the volunteer
opportunities yet. I don't know if you know what open slots there are left
for volunteers. I could probably do this, though don't know what the
time/date is and whether it would conflict with any family activities.

 

Also, along those lines, I didn't register for the convention, because I
assume that registration means that I'm entering a car for an event rather
than just going to the convention to hobnob with my Corvair buddies and look
at the cars.
