To those of you looking to go to the Bass Pro Shop at Patriot Place this coming Thursday evening for the first MASS Cruiser's cruise show (and every other Thursday after!)

Subject: 2012 Bass Pro Shops Cruise Parking plan


The 2012 Bass Pro Shops cruise season begins this Thursday April 19 at 4:30 pm and, with it, a new traffic management plan is being implemented by Patriot Place to handle the cruise night traffic and parking. 
 
The small Bass Pro Shops parking lot 15B  will not be available for show car parking this year as it is being dedicated to displaying their Tracker Boat inventory. Additionally, with the planned addition of a new Trader Joe’s Market in the South Retail complex, sections of lots 12A & 13 fronting between Bed Bath & Beyond to Sleepy’s will be designated for retail customer parking only. Cruise night spectator parking will be directed to Lot 20 that fronts the Marriot Renaissance Hotel where complimentary shuttle bus service will be available. The attached map displays the spectator arrival from both route 1 North and South through the main entrance at P6 with pedestrian walkway from Lot 20 to the show cars via the tunnel walkway to Lots 12B, 14A & 16. 
 
Cruise show cars traveling North on Route 1 (from I-495) will be directed to enter the P8 gate entrance and those traveling South on Route 1 (from I-95) will be directed to enter the main P6 Gate entrance. The location for our Mass Cruisers tent and D.J. will also be shifted from its former location directly across from the Bass Pro Drive pedestrian walkway to the middle of Lot 16 approximately where Mustang Alley was located last year. 
 
Mass Cruisers club members will be wearing their new ANSI high visibility yellow tee shirts this year to direct the show car parking while Patriot Place employees will be handling the spectator and retail shopping traffic and parking duties.  And, if all goes well with these new parking changes, food will be available in the upper car show lots beginning in May.
