Hey folks,
Just passing this Mass Cruisers e-mail (see below) along to those of you that
might be interested in seeing the MassCruisers slide show.
With the 2010 cruise season coming to a close... you might want to squeeze a
few more activities in.
Also, tomorrow should be clear weather for the Show at Phantom Farm in
Cumberland on Route 114 (exit 11 off 295). The show runs from 11-3, Cruisin
Bruce DJ's. Phantom Farm has an apple orchard, the store/stand has knick-knacks,
baked goods (I know Ray has been raving about their pies!), cider, and gourmet
coffee. I plan on being there!
Sunday, October 17th at 9am - 3pm
The final CruisinBruce weekend carshow of the 2010 season ! Come on up Rte 146
into the town of Millbury, MA
for the annual show benefiting local residents through the Millbury Improvement
Initiative. It all happens at the town's sprawling Windle Field
with a judging panel selecting the show's top-50 (awarded throughout the
afternoon), plenty of raffle prizes and a big 50/50. The field is at the
intersection of Elm & Canal Streets.
Saturday, October 23rd is Lionel's Tech Day at his garage/residence in Milbury
from 10-2PM. The topic will be geared toward the basics of checking/changing the
oil, maintaining tire integrity by checking the pressure and tread, etc., but
you can ask any question you may have! Only $5 to help defray the cost of lunch.
We'll have a great time, and learn "stuff", and have hot dogs with some nice
sides including Ray Bomma's Baked Beans! Contact Lionel to let him know you are
coming!
His e-mail address is lionelsgarage at aol.com.

Thursday October 21 will be the final cruise of our successful 2010 Bass Pro

for the Best Costume, male and female in the spirit of the Halloween season in
addition the ShoCar Association Best Cruiser award and a fabulous 50/50 raffle
that includes gift certificates from some of our sponsoring restaurants.

About this video:
"The rains ended in the early morning hours so that 700 cars and about 200
motorcycles were able to brave the chilly and windy late afternoon October
sunshine for another successful cruise. New England sunsets are getting earlier
this time of year and they are beautiful to watch as a backdrop for the
gathering of collector cars on this Foxborough hilltop along U.S. Route 1 that
follows the Ocean Spray cranberry harvest weekend behind the Bass Pro Shops at
the at Patriot Place."
Forward this email to your friends and family so that they can see it, too.
