  We have a family funeral (Chuck's Aunt Mary age 98) on Friday with some family coming into town from California to stay with us.
  We hope to make it but its looking doubtful - unless we kick everyone out Friday night (not likely Im afraid).

    at Lyman Orchards is this Saturday, August 28th!!! Where the heck is the time going??????

    Who is planning to go to this fine event? CT Corsa put on a very well organized, yet low key event  last year. The trophies were great, the people were friendly and accommodating as Corvair people usually are.
    The Orchard grounds are beautiful, there is a produce/bakery/market at the top of the hill, with a concession stand that serves breakfast and lunch. Peach and apple picking can be done and they may have the corn maze...not sure if it is too early though.

    The weather this weekend is supposed to be fine as well.
