BSCC- Custom Corvair to be auctioned at Owl's Head 8/22

I believe that this was the Torvair that was at the Clark's show last summer--if memory serves me right.  I believe that it was a V-8 out of an Olds Toronado (thus the "Torvair").  The V-8 is still in the rear, but the radiator is what you see up front.  The Torvair was somethin' fierce, and if you get a chance to take it home, it's a hell of a piece of machinery!!  I was pretty impressed by it!
