BSCC- Sunday

An open note to Jason and everyone else.

I spoke late yesterday afternoon with Carol Tolles, the owner of the Island Terrace Nursing Home in Lakeville and the organizer of this great annual event She said she would alert the parking crew of our planned arrival time and our desire to park together in the same location at the top of the hill near the mansion. (The same spot for 3-4 years now). I asked what her intent was in regards to the forecast rain. She says 'the show will go on', rain or shine and would only be cancelled in the event of a safety issue; (I assume she meant gale force winds or stronger). I told her our numbers planning to attend would definitely shrink if the rain continued and she understands that. So with that in mind, it's up to you to decide tomorrow morning if you still plan to meet at the Middleboro Rotary Dunkin Donut Shop between 7:00-7:30, leaving at 7:30 SHARP for Island Terrace. For those who do decide to meet as scheduled tomorrow morning at the Dunkin Donut Shop located just off I-495; southbound it would be Exit 6, route 44 east, bear to the right onto 44 east for 1/4 mile into the Middleboro Rotary or from the south take Exit 5 off I-495, (route 18 North), bear right off the ramp onto route 18 north for 1/4 mile into the Middleboro Rotary. From either exit, you will see the Dunkin Donut Shop as you circle the rotary.

Another thought, if it's raining that early, watch your weather and if it's going to clear by late morning, then plan on coming a little later. We may not be able to be parked all together but we can all bring our chairs, coolers etc to one central area where the 'early birds' staked out a good spot and we'll still have a good time. Either way, use your best judgement.

Having just been responsible for our show at Clark's, I know that even with the best of planning, we're still at the mercy of the weather. I hope for Carol's Tolles sake that the weather breaks and she is able to get the show in. She said her residents at Island Terrace Nursing Home really look forward to this event. Let's not let them down if we can help it.

Best regards, Ray 'B'

> Ok folks. Rain is a definite possibility on Sunday. At least in the morning with showers during the day. Are we still meeting at DD before 7:30? If so please let me know what exit number of 495 that one is as there is about 1 million dd's in the state (it seems!) now. Thanks all. Jay
