Hello Everyone,

        I trust that all who attended the "Fall Classic' had a memorable time.  I know we did.   What a blast.  It was well worth the crazy amount of time all the committees put in to make the event run so smoothly.  I had the pleasure to meet and chat with so many wonderful and interesting Corvair owners; where but at Clark's.   I don't think you'll see that many Corvairs short of a regional mini-convention and they are usually run by a few club's.  I'm so proud of the way our Bay State members, new and old, worked the event from start to finish with such unwavering enthusiasm.  There are so many people, sponsors, club members etc. who gave so generously from the heart of time, effort and/or money that all I can do is offer my sincere and heartfelt, thank you!
        
        I'm already thinking ahead to the super time we'll have at the 2010 Fall Classic when "The '60 turns 50".  Just because the Clark's Show has passed into the record books doesn't mean the club activities are over for the year.  We've still got some exciting times ahead at Bay State Corvairs.  Also, please join me in welcoming the 10 new families to our Bay State Corvairs family who all signed on at 'The Fall Classic'. last Saturday.  I hope see and get to know these nice folks a little better at one of our remaining 2008 events and I know you'll make them all feel welcomed as well.

See you all at the monthly meeting on the 24th and we should have a full breakdown of all the expenses and profits from the Fall Classic.
