BSCC- Dick Daniels Update

Hi all,

According to Shirley Daniels this evening, Dick was a little more responsive today.  The swelling in his head is no worse and it appears the "bleeding on the brain" has stopped.  He did talk although very little.  He opened his eyes a little more today without prompting and he may be transferred to the Veteran's Administration Hospital in West Roxbury sometime during the first half of the upcoming week.  He broke his thumb, glasses and his watch in his fall in the driveway.   Shirley did find his hearing aid in the driveway before it snowed again.  I told her I'd check back with her on Monday.  A card has been sent to Dick on the Club's behalf.  

I know Dick would be humbled to know how many people have called with care and concern.
