I did the show and tell, about 12 people showed up, it was a lot of fun! It turns out that someone here is friends with John Weigel from our group. I didn't get this guys name. I'll see if i can find out who he is. What a small world.

This is what happens when you drive your car to work.

I'm using the corvair this week because the Miata is in the shop from the accident last week.

I'll let you know how the show and tell goes later.

Did you notice the beautiful black chevy corvair with wrap around windows with the red vinyl interior in the garage?
Well, it belongs to Cynthia, our contractor in Finance, and I asked her if she'd be willing to do a show and tell in the garage at lunch for a few minutes for us to admire her vintage ride.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then check out the photo below and imagine it in black.
I believe that it's a 1962 - but my short term memory is bad and I'm sure that Cynthia will correct me.
According to Dean and Alan - it was one of the few rear engine cooled American production cars produced.
Dean says that there used to be a cookbook for the Chevy Corvair where you could buy two plates to mount in the engine comparment to cook roast beef and potatoes!
Alan mentioned that this started Ralph Nadar's career…."Unsafe at Any Speed" (Be careful, Cynthia!!)
