BSCC- thank you

I have to give a little bit of love to the Club as well for this past Saturday.  I didn't get a chance to go to the show because I work for corporate slavedrivers that like to cut my pay and tell me that working almost 60 hours isn't enough (but I'm not bitter).  However, I did send my girlfriend, Tami, in my place and she was rather well recieved.  She told me that she was given a very warm welcome and felt right at home by members of the club.  This makes me wish that I could be at more events (not that I didn't before-see above slavedriver comments).  She talked to a number of club members and even gave me a few leads in regards to people that can help my with my '65 coupe resto.  Being someone that is not only new to the area, but new to car restoration, I need all the help I can get.  You guys have already given me a hand, and I appreciate that.  Thank you for looking after Tami, and thanks for the help!

I sent out pictures of the show yesterday, is the club getting the invitation to view the pictures at my picasa website? I’m still not sure if I’m sending them correctly. Please email me at this address cynthiabon at comcast.net to let me know if the club received them or not. Don’t reply to the gmail address if you did. I’m going to attach them to this email in case the picasa invitation wasn’t sent correctly..
 
Oh yeh, way to go Steve!!!! And all the other winners too!! We have such an awesome club!! And Ray, I think it was the book (Unsafe at any speed) not the tires. Ha, ha, ha!

     I want to convey a very sincere thank you to all those at VolksVair today. Best of Show - Wow! I always say that receiving any award at a peer judged show is the highest compliment one could receive. Truth be known, I was discouraged last night and this morning wrestling troubles with my own cars and almost didn't make it to the show. A big thanks to Lionel for coming up with the solution to my 63' electrical problem. Within minutes of returning home ... it was running again. It was a wonderful day and couldn't have been more timely.
