Hey Mark,  Glad to hear your going to join in the fun. My car needs work too (rear wheel bearings) and I'm also pretty nervous about going out for the first time. Wrecking the car would be a drag to say the least. Beyond that I don't want to be in the way of everyone else. I think I'll be fine once I've turned a few laps and get more comfortable. I will need a helmet. I've been keeping my eye on one in the catalogs (Summit or Jegs). It's tough to justify the price for such limited use. Steve B.

  Dave - doing OK - been very busy at work the past couple of weeks - hopefully it will be back to normal this week.

  Linda began chemo last week - is feeling quite well, just tired easily.  Expects to work on and off as she can.

  It would be great to go to Limerock with you guys.  I have not ruled June out completely.

  Have all of rear suspension out right now - almost ready to put some paint on it - still waiting for the new parts to come  - all new bushings, u-joints,  wheel cyl, flex brake lines, bearing units etc. Still have to struggle with one trailing arm bushing, the rubber pressed out but not the steel shell!  The ONLY good thing about this weather is I do not feel bad about not having the Corvair back on the road yet!

  I keep thinking about driving at Limerock also - still a little leary after seeing a Corvair that got rear-ended during practice laps a couple of years ago - that would be very discouraging. Also worry if the oil leaks I have would pass inspection.  I doubt I can make June but perhaps the August event.  Steve - I have a 2005 helmet you can use if I am not driving.  It is a full helmet - I don't use the face shield but could be put back on if you want.

    HEY,HEY, if the car is done cart in june would be nice. two cars wont fit in one but i have 2 and maybe a third trailer . the enclosed trailer will have all the tools and spare parts and things in it  and im not sure about staying over yet.plains are still in the early stages once the car is done ill know a lot better about things.putting the car together is no big deal should be close in 4 weeks or so. i am still shopping for some fiberglass seats. something lite im trying to keep the weight down. i want all the speed i can get.be sure that i will stay in close contact with you
