BSCC- lime rock ride

I tried to send this info earlier but it never showed up on my computer, so
I am assuming it did not go to everyone else either.
There are a bunch of wheels on ebay with 4x4.5 inch lug pattern - mostly new
- for the tuner market.
Dave, if you have not looked at it, you might want to look at the wheel swap
section on Bryan Blackwells autocross web site (autoxer.skiblack.com). He
indicates that many foreign cars used this pattern - Toyota, datson, Nissan
, Mazda etc. He also indicates that an early model is limited to 6 inch
wheel width due to interference with something. May-be this can be fixed
with modifications of something.
Anyway - it is a good site for Corvair autocross/performance information.

By the way - unless there is some significant turn of events I will NOT be
driving for the June Limerock, but plan to go as a spectator - day trip. I
am planning to drive at the August event.
Mark E.

Hey Dave,
The wheels are available at www.diamondracingwheels.com
<http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/> . (800)-937-4407. Seth Emerson had
them produce a line for Corvairs. They have a lot of sizes for you with the
proper back spacing/offset. My wheels are 15x7 and 15x8. If memory serves
me, they were about $60 - $65 each.I have an old catalog here (2001). I'm
not sure how accurate it is. They do list 13x7 and 13x8 with the four lug.
I'd be interested in what they have to say if you contact them. Steve B.
P.S. These are racing wheels and they require the 1" lug nuts.
(standard 7/16" stud and thread).
