BSCC- Gas gauge sending unit help

Hey folks!
I've run into a little snag reinstalling my gas gauge
sending unit. Long story short, the seal won't do it's
job and gas keeps weeping past. I tried the one I had
in there originally and the one that I had from Clarks
that was extra, to no avail. 

If anyone who will be attending the meeting tomorrow
night that can bring a good seal and also the tool to
install the ring that I could borrow I would greatly
appreciate it!
