The Tire Barn is correct Celia. Just off the highway. They are Delta Fortune tires. Size 185/80-R13s. I purchased a set this past summer. They run about $50 or so...which I think is still pretty reasonable. Total cost with mounting and tax was $218.

Subject: BSCC- Searching for Corvair tires

Happy New Year, everyone!

We need new tires for our 66 Corvair, and are hoping
to find some with 1" whitewalls. We found one model,
cheap, the Kumho Touring A/S. It's got a white stripe
that looks a bit too narrow. See
http://www.kumhousa.com/Products/PtnDetails.asp?mainCatID=1&PTNID=795&refAction=PtnDetail
It's $34 at tirerack.com

Anyone found any other contenders that have 1" stripes
in the 185/80-R13 size? Paul thought he remembered
folks talking about a place called something like Tire
Barn in Bridgewater, though he might have the name or
place wrong. He thinks that's where the Sedani's got
their tires.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Celia
