It's my pleasure.  I sometimes think of topics on the fly, and write them in one shot.  I have a bunch of ideas for future articles and I will keep them coming.  The wire wheel story is absolutely true, I bet there are still deals like that out there for people willing to track down old leads.  And yes that is Kennedy Park, in 1979 I believe.  Good guess.  I should be going on Sunday and so is my Dad.

  Just read your August column.   I personally prefer these remembrance columns to the tech columns.   This one was terrific about the real wire wheels etc.   I enjoy them all; I just prefer these.   But you keep doing what you do best.   It's been a nice mix and it's the 1st column I look for in each issue.   Thanks for your support and time to put these stories together for the enjoyment of all the club members.   

  One question, in the picture of your Corsa from the late 70's, it looks like it's on a hill at a car show.   Could it possibly be at Kennedy Park in Fall River??    Ray

    Hello-
      Just thought I'd throw out an update on Bill Beardsley's old car, which is now in my brother's hands.  It's on the road and registered, the interior is back together, and it will be headed to the body shop soon!  It's actually running very good..
